Ciao Tomatoes: From the Heart of Italy to Your Table
Authenticity, Quality, and Flavor – That’s the Ciao Promise.
Founded in 1979 by Lino Cutolo and his brothers Remo and Franco, Ciao Tomatoes is a family-owned business that has been providing premium Italian tomatoes for over four decades. Their factory is nestled in the foothills of Mount Vesuvius, near the world-renowned San Marzano region, where the rich soil and unique climate yield some of the finest tomatoes on earth.
Family Heritage & Careful Sourcing
At Ciao Tomatoes, tradition and sustainability go hand in hand. Each product is made with care, starting from the farm, where tomatoes are hand-picked at their peak. The factory, only 90 minutes from the fields, ensures that all tomatoes are canned within six hours of harvesting, preserving their natural flavors and antioxidants. The tomatoes are renowned for their richness, thanks to the fertile volcanic soil and abundant sunshine from the region.
Quality at Every Step
The process begins in the fields with careful selection and sorting of the best tomatoes, which are then processed in the company’s state-of-the-art facility. From whole peeled tomatoes to crushed varieties, every product is made without GMOs and is 100% natural. Customers experience this commitment to quality in every can, whether used in a pizza sauce or a classic Italian dish.
A Legacy of Excellence
The Cutolo brothers have instilled a legacy of passion for great food, sharing the fruits of their family’s labor with the world. Today, Ciao Tomatoes continues to uphold its mission: to provide exceptional products made with respect for the environment, local farmers, and Italian tradition.
