Mafalda corta is a ribbon-shaped pasta with ruffled or frilly edges on both sides, resembling miniature lasagna ribbons or little wavy lasagna strips. We have found it to be excellent with hearty meat sauces like bolognese or ragù (the ruffles trap bits of meat). But it also pairs beautifully with vegetables (e.g., broccoli, spinach, mushrooms), seafood, or simple garlic/olive oil dishes.

Sizing Notes And How We Use It

This pasta comes in 500g (1.1lb) bags in a box of 20 bags. Because the pasta is dried, pantry storage is very easy! Typically, our family of 6 goes through between 1-1.5lbs of pasta for a family dinner.
