The name fusilli lunghi bucati likely derives from the ancient method of twisting around a fusillo (knitting needle used by spinners), and it pairs excellently with Neapolitan ragù or Genovese pesto. It’s bronze-drawn for a rough surface that grips sauces. Made from 100% Italian durum wheat with minimum 14% protein for firm al dente texture and excellent cooking resistance.
Sizing Notes And How We Use It
This is a large box of pasta, it comes in 500g (1.1lb) bags in a box of 20 bags. Because the pasta is dried, pantry storage is very easy! Typically, our family of 6 goes through between 1-1.5lbs of pasta for a family dinner.
